Brooklyn Technical Services has over 20 years' experience in developing Unix-based solutions for businesses, nonprofits and online communities.  We are one of the pioneers of online and social media in NYC.

We collaborated on NYC's first public-access, multiuser BBS and helped build the first online presences for PBS and WNET TV.  We developed the ground-breaking, tree-structured conferencing system, Magpie, which was adopted by five of the largest school systems in the country.  We built the first patient referral and tracking system for NYC's medically-underserved population and, in partnership with the NYC Department of Health, the first software to study the reproductive and mental health history of a large metro school system.
